๐Ÿ“– About Hydrogen

The most abundant element in the universe, making up about 75% of all normal matter by mass. Stars are mostly hydrogen fusing into helium. On Earth it is mostly found bonded as water (H2O). It is the lightest element and burns explosively in air.

๐Ÿ”ง Uses and Applications

  • Rocket fuel (liquid hydrogen)
  • Fuel cells for electric vehicles
  • Production of ammonia for fertilizers
  • Oil refinery processes
  • Potential future clean energy carrier

๐Ÿ’ก Did You Know?

Fact: A single teaspoon of neutron star material, which is mostly compressed hydrogen nuclei, would weigh about 10 million tonnes on Earth.
