๐Ÿ“– About Platinum

A rare, corrosion-resistant precious metal with a silver-white appearance. More rare than gold, platinum is found mainly in South Africa. Its extreme resistance to corrosion and high melting point make it invaluable in catalytic converters, which convert toxic exhaust gases to less harmful ones. About 40% of all platinum goes into catalytic converters.
